Limit Up Limit Down Pilot Reports
In response to the Plan to Address Extraordinary Market Volatility Pursuant to Rule 608 of Regulation NMS, MIAX Options established procedures that are reasonably designed to comply with the requirements of the Plan. As part of its procedures, MIAX Options represented that the Exchange would provide the SEC assessments relating to the impact of the operation of the obvious error rules during Limit and Straddle States no later than two months prior to the end of a one-year Pilot Period. MIAX Options also represented that the Exchange would provide the SEC and the public a dataset containing data for each Limit and Straddle State in affected stocks and that such data would be submitted on or before the last day of the calendar month following the month to which the data applies. The Limit Up Limit Down Pilot Program was replaced by a permanent Limit Up Limit Down Plan in October 2019 (see National Market System Plan for more information). A copy of the publicly available dataset and Pilot Reports are available below.
