MIAX Futures (formerly MGEX) is a fully electronic, vertically integrated futures exchange and clearing house established in 1882, offering access to commodity products such as Minneapolis Hard Red Spring Wheat futures and options on futures.
Minneapolis Hard Red Spring Wheat
The flagship contract of MIAX Futures, Minneapolis Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRSW), has traded continuously since its inception in 1881. HRSW futures and options are traded exclusively electronically on the CME Globex® Platform.
Vertically integrated clearinghouse with an unrestricted DCO license
Recognized by the CFTC as a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), MIAX Futures’ unrestricted DCO license allows us to offer margin on cleared futures positions.
