MIAX Exchange Group - Options Markets - Corporate Action Alert: Merck & Co., Inc. (MRK)
Merck & Co., Inc. (MRK) has announced a distribution effective for Thursday, June 3, 2021. On that date, the current MRK option class will change to MRK1. The MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX PEARL Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange will not list MRK1 options. Therefore, no options on MRK will be available for trading on Thursday, June 3, 2021.
Merck & Co., Inc. (MRK) will resume trading on the MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX PEARL Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange on Friday, June 4, 2021.
All GTC orders resting on the MIAX order books in MRK will be canceled at the close of business on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
