MIAX Options & MIAX PEARL Options Exchanges - Notice of Network Updates and June 20, 2020 Testing
Two additional switches will be added to the MIAX Options (MIAX) and MIAX PEARL Options (PEARL) Exchanges production Ultra Low Latency (ULL) shared extranet edge network segment in NY4 targeting the evening of Friday, June 19, 2020. This will increase the shared ULL segment to 8 switches from the current count of 6 switches.
These changes will require all firms with existing 10 Gig ULL shared extranet connections to MIAX and/or PEARL to perform a regression connection test through on each of their links on Saturday, June 20, 2020 between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM eastern.
The MIAX Options and MIAX PEARL Exchanges will begin the provisioning of new cross connects on the additional two 10 Gig ULL switches on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
