Updated - MIAX Exchange Group - Options Markets - Corporate Action Alert: EnCana Corporation (ECA)
EnCana Corporation (ECA) has announced a reverse split and a name and symbol change effective for Monday, January 27, 2020. On this date, the current ECA option class will change to OVV2. The MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX PEARL Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange will not list OVV2 options. Therefore, no options in ECA or OVV will be available for trading on Monday, January 27, 2020.
EnCana Corporation (ECA) will also change its name and symbol to Ovintiv Inc. (OVV) and resume trading on the MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX PEARL Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
NOTE: OVV options will trade on Cloud 14 on the MIAX Options Exchange and on Cloud 7 on the MIAX PEARL Options Exchange and the MIAX Emerald Options Exchange.
