MIAX Emerald - Changes to the Fee Type Value Disseminated on all Trade Records Beginning Monday, April 15, 2019

The MIAX Emerald Exchange will change the value disseminated in the Class Type or Class Fee Type fields to “M” (Maker/Taker) on the following interfaces beginning Monday, April 15, 2019:

  • FIX Order Interface (FOI) - Execution Report (MsgType = 8) - FIX Tag 9730 (Position 6 – ClassType field)
  • FIX Drop Copy (FXD) - Execution Report (MsgType = 8) - FIX Tag 9730 (Position 6 – ClassType field)
  • Clearing Trade Drop (CTD) – Trade Message – Class Fee Type Field
In addition, the following Emerald Listings file found on the MIAX website will reflect the new field value:
  • Listings Classes File, Column H
