U.S. Options

The MIAX Emerald (EMLD) Exchange would like to remind all mock trading participants that test trading will take place on Saturday, January 26th, February 2nd and 9th 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET.  

The MIAX EMLD industry mock trading testing will support the following activity in all classes currently listed on MIAX Options & MIAX PEARL utilizing assigned production network connections:

•  Open firm participation via each of MIAX EMLD’s technical interfaces:
  • MIAX Express Interface (MEI) for quotes
  • FIX Order Interface (FOI) for FIX orders
  • FIX Drop Copy (FXD)
  • Clearing Trade Drop (CTD) for trade drops
• MIAX EMLD Market Data Dissemination via each of the MIAX EMLD private data feeds:
  • Top of Market Data (ToM) Feed
  • Administrative Information Subscriber (AIS) Feed
  • MIAX Order (MOR) Feed
  • Complex Top of Market Data (cToM) Feed
• Dissemination of Quote and Trade data to OPRA (NOTE: OPRA participation has been coordinated for all Mock Trading Sessions)
• Data generated from the testing will utilize the new OPRA Participant ID code “D” which will be disseminated via OPRA’s Production channels
• Routing of eligible orders to exchanges at the NBBO via participating exchanges and/or via simulation
• Firms interested in receiving test data from OCC as a result of the weekend Industry Test windows will need to register with OCC one week prior to participation to ensure connectivity and proper data service setup.  OCC will be supporting testing out of OCC’s External Test 3 environment for each Industry window.  Trades input to MIAX EMLD during the weekend test window will be played into the environment each following Monday and data service will be created for registered entities.  To register with OCC for participation, please complete the test request form at the following link and indicate your request relates to MIAX Emerald Industry Testing - https://www.theocc.com/webapps/cert-test-services

While not required for participation in mock trading, API certification is mandatory prior to launch for those participants utilizing the MEI, FOI, FXD or CTD interfaces.
