MIAX Options & MIAX PEARL - Disaster Recovery Connectivity Testing in Preparation for Reg SCI / SIFMA BCP Testing on October 13, 2018
As previously announced in the April 04, 2018 Alert the MIAX Exchanges will be participating in the 2018 SIFMA BCP Testing on Saturday, October 13, 2018.
All members that are required to test with MIAX Options and/or MIAX PEARL Exchanges in accordance with Regulation Systems Compliance and Integrity (Regulation SCI) have been notified. However, all members are encouraged to test.
MIAX will operate out of its disaster recovery (DR) site in Chicago (CH4).
Connectivity Testing to the MIAX DR environments will be available:
- Saturday, September 15, 2018, between 8:00AM - 12:00PM EST
- October 1, 2018 through October 12, 2018, between 8:00AM - 5:30PM EST
October 13, 2018 Test Day Timeline:
- 08:30 - Firms can connect to the MIAX Trading Systems, Order and Quote acceptance
- 09:15 - Live Quote Window will open
- 09:30 - Opening
- 13:00 - Closing
MIAX Options Exchange & MIAX PEARL Exchange BCP Testing Requirements
Members mandated to participate in accordance with Regulation SCI are obligated, at a minimum, to demonstrate the following:
Electronic Exchange Members (EEM)
- Send at least two orders in any of the options listed below
- Receive at least one execution in any of the options listed below
Market Makers (MM)
- MIAX Options:
- Send at least one, two-sided quote in any of the options listed below
- Receive at least one execution in any of the options listed below
- MIAX PEARL:
- Send at least one, two-sided binary order in any of the options listed below
- Receive at least one execution in any of the options listed below
Options
- AAPL - NOV 16 18 – C - 145.00
- AAPL - NOV 16 18 – P - 145.00
- BAC - NOV 16 18 - C - 19.00
- BAC - NOV 16 18 - P - 19.00
- GE - JAN 18 19 - C - 25.00
- GE - JAN 18 19 - P - 25.00
- MSFT - OCT 19 18 - C - 65.00
- MSFT - OCT 19 18 - P - 65.00
- SPY - DEC 21 18 - C - 50.00
- SPY - DEC 21 18 - P - 50.00
All Symbols listed on the MIAX Exchanges will be available for testing, but the above symbols will have an increase in activity.
