MIAX Options - Interface Specification Updates to Support Complex Crossing Order Functionality (AIS, CTD, cToM, FXD, FOI & MEI)
MIAX Options has published the following updated Interface Specifications to support Complex Crossing Functionality:
- FIX Order Interface (FOI)
- Added message type New Order Cross – Multileg (MsgType = As) to support Complex Crossing orders
- Added a new field, Strategy State, for tag# 9730 (Additional Billing Parameters) in message type Execution Report – Single or Multileg (MsgType = 8)
- Defined additional values for fields in tag# 9730 (Additional Billing Parameters) to support execution reports of Complex Crossing orders
- Added MaxComplexCrossingOrderSize protection setting for Complex Crossing orders
- Added a note that tag# 548 (CrossID) needs to be unique across MsgType = s and MsgType = As within a single trading day for the EEM across all FOIs of the firm
- FIX Drop Copy (FXD)
- Added a new field, Strategy State, for tag# 9730 (Additional Billing Parameters) in message type Execution Report (MsgType = 8)
- Defined additional values for fields in tag# 9730 (Additional Billing Parameters) to support execution reports of Complex Crossing orders
- MIAX Express Interface (MEI)
- Defined an additional reject reason code for Complex eQuotes to support Complex Price Improvement (cPRIME) auctions
- Clearing Trade Drop (CTD)
- Defined additional values for fields in Trade message to support Complex Crossing orders
- Administrative Information Subscriber (AIS) Feed
- Defined a new event type (Event Type = P) and used existing reserved space for a new field Attributable ID in Complex Liquidity Seeking Event Notification message
- Complex Top of Market (cTOM) Feed
- Noted that existing Condition Code = C will be used for cPRIME auctions
Important Dates:
- The above interface updates will be available in the MIAX Firm Test Bed #2 (FTB2) environment on Monday, June 19, 2017
- The implementation date of the above changes will be announced via a Regulatory Circular
- Certification of this new order type is mandatory
