MIAX Exchange Group - Options Markets - Corporate Action Alert: 2x Long VIX Futures ETF (UVIX)
2x Long VIX Futures ETF (UVIX) has announced a short-term capital gains distribution effective for Wednesday, January 15, 2025. On this date, the current UVIX option class will change to UVIX3. The MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX Pearl Options Exchange, MIAX Emerald Options Exchange and MIAX Sapphire Options Exchange will not list UVIX3 options. Therefore, no options on UVIX will be available for trading on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
2x Long VIX Futures ETF (UVIX) will resume trading on the MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX Pearl Options Exchange, MIAX Emerald Options Exchange and MIAX Sapphire Options Exchange on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
All GTC orders resting on the MIAX order books in UVIX will be canceled at the close of business on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
