Minneapolis Grain Exchange - MGEX Migration from CME Globex to the MIAX Futures Onyx Trading Platform
The Minneapolis Grain Exchange, LLC (MGEX), a wholly owned subsidiary of Miami International, Inc. (MIH) is pleased to announce that it will be transitioning the trading and market data dissemination of MGEX products from CME Globex to newly developed MIAX Futures Onyx technology (“Onyx”) platforms, based on the same industry leading MIAX technology that powers the trading of equities and options products. This new technology will power multiple platforms to provide for the trading of agricultural and financial futures and options on futures in geographically diverse locations.
Additional details on the phased migration to MIAX Futures Onyx and market data platforms, expected to begin in Q2 2025, will become available as transition plans and technical specifications are finalized.
