MIAX Exchange Group - Options Markets - Corporate Action Alert: HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC)
HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) has announced an Special Cash Dividend effective for Thursday, May 9, 2024. On that date, the current HSBC option class will change to HSBC1. The MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX Pearl Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange will not list HSBC1 options. Therefore, no options on HSBC will be available for trading on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) will resume trading on the MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX Pearl Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange on Friday, May 10, 2024.
All GTC orders resting on the MIAX order books in HSBC will be canceled at the close of business on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
