General Electric Company (GE) has announced a distribution and a name change effective for Tuesday, April 2, 2024. On that date, the current GE option classes will change to GE1 and change its name to GE Aerospace.  The MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX Pearl Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange will not list GE1 options. Therefore, no options on GE will be available for trading on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. 

GE Aerospace (GE) will resume trading on the MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX Pearl Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

All GTC orders resting on the MIAX order books in GE will be canceled at the close of business on Monday, April 1, 2024.
