As previously announced in the February 7, 2024 Alert, the MIAX Pearl Equities (EPRL) Exchange published updated Interface Specifications to support the following system enhancement:

1. Locate Account Validation Protection
   1. This protection is currently available to be set by the member at the Firm Scope. As part of this enhancement, the protection will additionally be available at the:
      1. MPID Scope
      2. Session Scope
   2. The Locate Account Validation Protection remains an optional protection for all Scopes.
   3. The revised FIX Interface Specification (FOI) – Version 2.5a has updated the description of the existing LocateAccount field and made the field conditional on the New Order–Single and Order Cancel/Replace Request Message

• The above feature will be available in production on Monday, March 25, 2024.
• The above feature is available in the EPRL Firm Test Bed (FTB2).
