The MIAX Pearl Equities (EPRL) Exchange has published updated Interface Specifications to support the following system enhancement:

1. Locate Account Validation Protection
   1. This protection is currently available to be set by the member at the Firm Scope. As part of this enhancement, the protection will additionally be available at the:
      1. MPID Scope
      2. Session Scope
   2. The Locate Account Validation Protection remains an optional protection for all Scopes.
   3. The revised FIX Interface Specification (FOI) – Version 2.5a has updated the description of the existing LocateAccount field and made the field conditional on the New Order–Single and Order Cancel/Replace Request Message

• An updated version of the Port Attributes Guide and updated Interface Specifications are available here.
• Updated versions of the Risk Protections Guide and the User Manual are available here.
• The above feature will be available in the EPRL Firm Test Bed (FTB2) on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
• The above feature is targeted to be available in production in Q1 2024. The specific production rollout date will be announced with an alert at a later date.
