U.S. Futures

Following the last day of trading on November 15th, 2023, all open November SPIKES® futures positions will be cash settled by MGEX. Accordingly, all open November Spikes futures positions must be reported to the clearing house by 4:30 pm CT on November 15th, 2023. Clearing Members should expect to see their cash settlement reports at approximately 5:00 pm CT on the evening of November 15, 2023.

Clearing Members with open expiring SPIKES futures positions must submit position information either by submitting their Spikes Expiring Position Report file via SFTP (please see attached file spec) available at mgex.com/clearing.html; or by submitting positions manually to the MGEX Clearing House and verifying within the MGEX Clearing System (MCS) utilizing the Position Reporting - Expiring Position - Reporting screen and marking complete. For additional information on the reporting process, please see the MCS User Manual and instructional videos. Once verified and following the SPIKES Cash Settlement process, MGEX Clearing House will populate the cash settlement trades by account. Final clearing reports will be generated and distributed shortly after.
