MIAX Exchange Group - Options Markets - Corporate Action Alert: Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corporation (MSGE)
Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corporation (MSGE) has announced a distribution effective for Friday, April 21, 2023. On that date, the current MSGE option class will change to SPHR1. The MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX Pearl Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange will not list SPHR1 options. Therefore, no options on MSGE or SPHR will be available for trading on Friday, April 21, 2023.
Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corporation (MSGE) will also have a name and symbol change and resume trading as Sphere Entertainment Co. (SPHR) on the MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX Pearl Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange on Monday, April 24, 2023.
All GTC orders resting on the MIAX order books in MSGE will be canceled at the close of business on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
