MIAX Exchange Group - Options Markets - Corporate Action Alert: Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (BAM)
Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (BAM) has announced a distribution and name and symbol change to Brookfield Corporation (BN) effective for Monday, December 12, 2022. On that date, the current BAM option class will change to BN1. The MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX Pearl Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange will not list BN1 options. Therefore, no options on BN will be available for trading on Monday, December 12, 2022.
Brookfield Corporation (BN) will resume trading on the MIAX Options Exchange, MIAX Pearl Options Exchange and MIAX Emerald Options Exchange on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
All GTC orders resting on the MIAX order books in BAM will be canceled at the close of business on Friday, December 9, 2022.
