U.S. Options

The MIAX Options Exchange has published updated Interface Specifications to support the following system enhancements:

Administrative Information Subscriber Feed Specification (AIS) – Mandatory change - Version v2.5

• Added 2 new messages to support Settlement Reference Price and Settlement Price, publication via AIS during pre-open on the Settlement Day.
  • Theoretical Settlement Price (Message Type = “N”) using Theoretical Reference Prices
  • Theoretical Settlement Reference Price (Message Type = “M”) for each Settlement involved Option
• Note: All AIS subscribers must accommodate the new message types prior to activation in production.

MIAX Express Interface Specification (MEI) - Version 2.9b

• Clarification about a new Live Quote Window (LQW), known as SET-LQW, which will lets quotes get accepted prior to actual LQW on the Settlement Day, only for Settlement involved Options.

FIX Interface Specification (FOI) - Version 2.6a

• Newly added, Auto Cancel on System Failure  (ACOSF)

CTD Interface Specification (CTD) - Version 2.6a

• Clarification about Trade Condition support in version prior to CTD2.4

Important Dates:

• These features will be available in the Firm Test Bed (FTB2) environment beginning Tuesday, August 30, 2022
• These features are expected to be in production in October 2022 (pending SEC approval)
