MIAX Emerald Options - Reminder: The Introduction of the High Precision Network Time Signal (Enhanced PTP/White Rabbit) Beginning April 1, 2022

As previously announced in the March 3, 2022 Alert, MIAX Emerald Options Exchange will introduce a High Precision Network Time Signal (Enhanced PTP/White Rabbit).  The High Precision Network Time Signal requires a dedicated cross connect that will be separate from the existing 1G Low Latency (LL) shared extranet switch infrastructure. Firms can now request activation for the service which will be in production beginning Friday, April 1, 2022.

  • Additional details regarding the High Precision Network Time Signal can be found in the attached document or on the MIAX website here.
  • Monthly subscription fees are required to receive access to the High Precision Network Time Signal.
  • The subscription fee will be $3,600.00 per month. The full MIAX Emerald Options Fee Schedule is available at MIAX Emerald Options Fees.
