MIAX Emerald Options - The Introduction of the High Precision Network Time Signal (Enhanced PTP/White Rabbit) is Postponed
As previously announced in the August 30th Alert, MIAX Emerald Options Exchange will introduce a High Precision Network Time Signal (Enhanced PTP/White Rabbit) via dedicated 1G cross connects for Firms. The introduction has been postponed until a later date, pending SEC approval.
The High Precision Network Time Signal requires a dedicated cross connect that will be separate from the existing 1G Low Latency (LL) shared extranet switch infrastructure. Further information about the High Precision Network Time Signal can be found in the attached document or on the MIAX website here.
