MIAX Options Interface Specification Updates to Support Complex Orders (FOI, MEI, CTD, FXD, AIS, MOR, ToM & cToM)

MIAX Options has published updated Interface Specifications to support Complex Orders for the following:

  • FIX Order Interface (FOI)
  • MIAX Express Interface (MEI)
  • Clearing Trade Drop (CTD)
  • MIAX FIX Drop Copy Port (FXD)
  • Administrative Information Subscriber Feed (AIS)
  • MIAX Order Feed (MOR)
  • Top of Market Feed (ToM)
  • Complex Top of Market Feed (cToM)


All specifications are currently available for review at MIAX Options Interface Specifications.

The activation of Complex Orders is scheduled for Q2 2016, pending SEC approval.  The production rollout schedule will be announced via future MIAX Regulatory Circular.  A summary explanation of the changes to each of the interface specifications can be found in the attached or located on the MIAX website at miaxoptions.com/sites/default/files/Complex_Orders_Interface_Specification_Summary.

Recipients of the AIS, MOR and ToM data feeds will be required to make modifications to support the latest revision.  Modifications to support changes to the remaining interfaces will be optional.

Important Dates:
  • Interface updates will be available in the MIAX Firm Test Bed #2 (FTB2) environment on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
