MIAX Options - IMPORTANT Release Update: Top of Market (ToM) 2.7 Release Implementation Strategy
As previously announced, the MIAX Options Exchange will upgrade the Top of Market (ToM) market data multicast feed on Monday, May 12, 2014 and Tuesday, May 13, 2014.
The ToM A and B feeds will begin dissemination of the new Underlying Status Notification message on May 14th. The population of the price field for Liquidity Seeking Event (Event “L”) message is pending SEC approval and a start date will be conveyed at such time.
Members and consumers of the MIAX ToM multicast feed are required to upgrade your applications to accommodate these changes and release dates.
Additional information regarding these changes can be found in the previously published (April 4th) MIAX Options Exchange Technical Alert titled “ToM Interface Specification Updates to Support Additional Features”. These release changes are mandatory and requires members make all programmatic changes as necessary. Members are requested to confirm your readiness with MIAX Trading Operations prior to the release date above.
In support of this change, sample market data test data is being published nightly on our production Cloud 9 ToM “A” feed between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
MIAX will also conduct a Production Test on Saturday, May 10, 2014 and recommend members participate.

- Firm Test Bed Availability - April 16th
- Production Test – May 10th
- Production Rollout – May 12th (Technical Upgrade)
- Production Rollout – May 13th (Dissemination of new message and field value)
