MIAX Options - Matching Engine Server Failover (Engine 12) for Symbol "M"
Please be advised that MIAX Options Exchange has experienced a server failure for engine 12 (symbol beginning with "M"). All other symbols are currently operating normally.
Trading activity on the MIAX Options Exchange in symbol beginning with"M" will be running with a new Matching Engine Trading Session ID following the failover. The new session ID will be 02 for this symbol range only.
At this time, FIX orders for symbol "M" will be rejected until the failover is completed.
For Quoting, Market Makers can simply connect to the existing NY4 ports once the failover is completed.
The MIAX Options Exchange anticipates the restart will be completed well before the opening. Status updates will be provided through subsequent alerts.
