MIAX Corporate Action Alert: SAFEWAY INC. (SWY)

SAFEWAY INC. (SWY) has announced a special distribution.  The distribution will become effective prior to the opening of business on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.  On that date, the current SWY options class will change to SWY1. The MIAX Options Exchange will not list SWY1 options.  Therefore, no options on SWY will be available for trading on the MIAX Options Exchange on Tuesday, April 15, 2014  The new SWY options series will resume trading on the MIAX Options Exchange on Wednesday, April 16, 2014.

All GTC orders resting on the MIAX order book in SWY will be canceled at the close of business on Monday, April 14, 2014.
