U.S. Options

The MIAX Options Exchange recently released updated Interface Specifications.  The attached document provides additional information summarizing the upcoming changes to the FIX Order Interface (FOI), MIAX Express Interface (MEI) and Top of Market (ToM) Data Feed.

These upcoming changes are required to support new Exchange functionality and require members to make programmatic changes.  Members are requested to plan for these changes which are targeted for an early 1st quarter 2014 release, pending SEC approval. The exact dates for each release will be published via a MIAX Regulatory Circular.

The MIAX Firm Test Bed will be upgraded to accommodate testing of these new features in December, 2013.  A follow-up MIAX Technical Alert will communicate the exact dates when each of these features are available to test on the MIAX Firm Test Bed and when Top of Market (ToM) test data will be available. 

All features will be made available to members in production once a simple re-certification of each application is completed.
